Aung San Suu Kyi, The Icon Who Fell From Her Heights
Aung San Suu Kyi was born on the 19 June 1945 in Rangoon. She has led a country from brutal dictatorship to democracy. In 1991 she was awarded the Nobel peace prize for her efforts to bring Democracy to Burma. In recent years, she has been shrouded in controversy.
