Bio Riddle

 

Who am I? 

 

I am the daughter of the father of Burma 

In my fight for democracy, I could not be firmer 

​

My mother died of cancer, my father by assassination 

I lead my country from dictatorship to a democratic nation 

 

I was imprisoned in my house in 1989 by the military force. 

So the country was derailed, forced off it's course 

 

My husband died in 1999, I was still in house arrest 

May the gods bless him and may he lay in rest 

 

In 2010, I was released from my prison quarters, 

I exited my gate and was surrounded by supporters, 

 

I still fight for this country of mine, 

 I won't live forever so my life was just fine 

 

But while I can, I still will fight 

For my country's military cannot do anything right. 

 

I can't win all the battles, I have to lose  

I can't choose how I get out on the news 

  

and I will now let the country be 

I am of course, Aung San Suu Kyi.
